Adding HC Calendar to Outlook

Hill College has made available for our community to add our community calendar to their Microsoft Outlook calendar. This quick and simple setup will ensure all events are up-to-date and more are always added!

1. Obtain Calendar Link
Firstly, you need to access the calendar link that Outlook accepts. Follow the guide bellow to understand how to.

Head to calendar.hillcollege.org
Click the menu button on the homepage (the ☰ button)
Click the “iCalendar feed” button under the ‘General’ tab
Scroll down and find “All sub-calendars” and click the clipboard button to copy the link
Now you have your iCal link, follow the next step
2. Add Calendar to Outlook
Secondly, you now just need to "subscribe" to the Hill College calendar on Outlook. Follow the guide bellow to understand how to.

Open Outlook on web at https://outlook.office365.com/calendar/
Click the “Add calendar” button on the sidebar
On the popup, click “Subscribe from web” on the sidebar
In the bar to input the link, paste the link you copied from the HC Calendar
Name the calendar “Hill College”
Give the calendar a colour, we suggest orange as this represents Hill College
On the dropdown, select “My calendars” instead of “Other calendars”
Finally click “Import” and Outlook will add the new calendar within your Outlook calendar
Ensure that the calendar is enabled on the sidebar under “My calendars” after you have closed the popup
